EXIT

When we arrived to Malmö a month ago I went with some friends to look for a bike. We had a huge walk and we finally got into a beautiful shop, plenty of new and expensive bikes.
We saw the owner and my friend Sven asked him: "Excuse me do you have second hand bikes?" He scanned us with the eyes, and he said an unforgettable sentence: "The answer is outside". HAHAHA
He was right, the fucking second hand bikes were outside, and 2 seconds after we were there too.

Malmö's BIG BROTHER

Talking yesterday with my friend Antonio, he came up with one interesting idea...We (the exchange students) are living here in Malmö a kind of BIG BROTHER TV program. The same characteristics: Living in a reduced area where you meet a lot of new people and you have to live with them all day long...
In this Big Brother the emotions become really strong, mostly at night, when the people turns crazy with alcohol.
Friendship, love, and of course our testosterone and estrogen flow trying to have some of the affection we just receive in our home country.
SO: I think my next project should be buying a hundred webcams and installing them in faculties, pubs and rooms...
I just need a name, what about "THE MALMÖ SHOW"?

Sorry I have no memories

Well...We couldn't have 20 people...but 10. Mostly young people. So...our map doesn't really represent the reality because the majority of the people in Malmö has to work, is not from Malmö, doesn't have time, or as one man told us: "Sorry I have no memories"...Just brilliant.
I'm sure anyway that the readers of the map will be thankful, because they will know the special places of the nicest 10 persons in Malmö. And also because our pictures show the best face of all Malmö citizens...

Swedish shyness

Why swedish people don't answer to our question?? I guess it's because 5 boys coming to ask, photograph and record you is too much for them... only 2 people of 8 answered to our question: "Could you tell us a public place in Malmö that has been special for you or you like for any reason?". Now we got divided into two groups so we can work faster and don't make the people get afraid...the 2 swedish boys will ask while the rest of us takes pictures of all around Malmö. We'll see if it works...and the people turns helpful.

Our project

Today we began our project, a sort of map made through "special places". We ask randomly someone in the street, (we record voice and take a picture of her/him) and we go to their favorite or special place. After, when we arrive there we ask other one, and we repeat the process until we have approximately 20 people. Then we will try to manage an interactive webmap of Malmö with this multimedia information.

She couldn't arrive

She couldn't arrive...

A mirror of our smallness

The biggest dancing Coreography

Everyone wonders...what are we doing in our course? Are we really learning something? What are we learning?
Runing through the streets, saying hello to the people or just looking like a kindergarten group...
I really don't know how but I'm shure we are learning with this kind of stuff to be open minded, to discover that art is not just painting, composing or designing, in conclusion, that life itself is even more artistic, the universe the biggest dancing coreography, and us, just dancers in the dark.

Making some reflections about the blog I discovered that I've never really tried to write everything I thought anywhere, I mean being authentic and saying always what I thought about things to the whole world, and not just what everyone would like to listen. But is this a good idea really? Sometimes probably it will be dangerous just because in real life we behave in a different way with each person we know, so...maybe I'll lose some friends with this blog... :-) , but not my really good friends...I hope...

I´ve just born...

...and the first thing I see: white smoke that paints with movement a huge blue screen...

...white smoke produced by a huge white falic cigarette...
